y a tu Señor anhela”

(Sura de la Apertura del Corazón, no. 94)

“The servants of the Compassionate are those who walk humbly upon the earth and, when the ignorant address them, say, peace, and who stay awake for their Lord, postrating and standing” (Sura al-Furqaan, Chapter of the Criterion, 25:63-64).

“And seek help through patience and prayer.  Surely, it is difficult, except for the humble” (Sura al-Baqara, Chapter of the Cow, 2:45).

“O you who believe.  When you rise to perform the prayer, wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows and wipe your heads and your feet up to the ankles.  If you are in impurity, purify yourselves.  But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you has come from satisfying a call of nature, or you have touched women, and you find no water, then resort to clean earth and wipe therewith your faces and your hands.  God desires not to place a burden upon you, but He desires to purify you and to complete His blessings upon you, that you may give thanks” (Sura al-Maa’ida, Chapter of the Feast, 5:6).

“O you who believe.  When you are called to prayer on the day of congregation, hasten to the remembrance of God and leave off trade.  That is better for you, if you knew.  And when the prayer is ended, then you may disperse through the land and seek the bounty of God.  And remember God much, that you may prosper” (Sura al-Jum’ah, Chapter of the Congregation, 62:9-10).
